For Work at Home Based Business Idea #1, I wrote about writing articles for Hubpages and Infobarrel to make a realistic full time home based income, working from home.  Since then, I have learned about a new Hubpages program that really sweetens the pot. It is the Flagship Hub Program.  Read below and find out how you can make $50K a year plus a cut of advertising revenues just by writing Hub pages, from home, with the ultimate flexible schedule!

You have to be a Hubpage member before you can apply.  But become one, and add some hubs, and make them good.  Then apply to the Flagship Hub Program.  Then if you meet certain requirements, in addition to still getting royalty from traffic/advertising on your hubs, you also get paid $35 for each hub you write (you are allowed to write up to 30 a month).  That's $25 for the hub, and $10 if your hub gets at least 10 visits from 10 other sites (besides HubPages) to your Hub within the first 30 days of first publication - something that is easy to accomplish with a half hour of links and social bookmarking.

You have to write a really good Hub, on their topics, meeting these requirements:

• A minimum of 1500 words, of your own, high-quality purely original writing
• A minimum of 3 relevant video capsules (YouTube or Google)
• A minimum of 5 relevant images
• At least 10 relevant links to other sources, each with your own 30-50 word description
• A news capsule (or highly-relevant RSS feed)
• Excellent thematic and aesthetic organization

I estimate it would take maybe 2 hours to write a really good quality hub.  $35 per hub x 30 hubs allowed per person per month = $1050 a month.  And that's only working 2 hours a day. I am not recommending it, but theoretically you could have 4 PayPal accounts, via your spouse or friends, and work 8 hours a day writing Hubs, and make $50,400 per year just from the $35 payments, plus more from your cut of the advertising revenue the Hub gets.

How many professional writers make $50K base pay plus a cut of advertising revenue on top of that?

A pretty sweet work at home business - virtually no risk, no overhead beyond a computer, desk, and internet connection.  And totally flexible - want to work only 2 hours a day on that, and 6 hours on your own site, no problem.
